Day 2 (We drive for what seems like forever)

May 2nd, 2017
The resources are still fair, so far hunger is not an issue. The weather has taken a cold turn and is blowing a chill wind at our backs.
I woke up this morning after a fitful sleep and figured things our with the car. With the help of a professional we were able to retake our vehicle from the rebellious key. The key is now safely hanging with his brother on a lanyard. (We weren't able to use the youtube information due to our jeep being slightly different around the top of the doors).

We stopped at a local joint for a bit of grub. After passing the drive through twice, because we pulled up too much, we did the same thing with the window.
It turned out that the manager was a nice guy, and that his employees showed their adoration of him the night before by smashing the side mirror of his car. An interesting tradition to say the least. The manager offered to trade his mirror for ours, but we graciously declined.
Due to training exercises in the kitchen that morning the grill had not been turned on, so our food was microwaved.
Part way down the road I received a phone call from a very suspicous number that said they were from some bureau and I quote,  "we have a warrant out for your arrest. Call us back immediately." Being that they didn't say my name, and the fact that it was an automated call, I feel that I was safe in assuming that there wasn't an actual warrant out. Besides, I have a completely clean record. We've decided that if it turns out it was real that I am going to tell the them truth. "You sounded like a scam." I feel like that should at least keep me out of jail. :)

After stopping for a break at around 11am and then getting back on the road, my companion had the strong urge to clear his throat. He tried spitting out the window. The result was a half n half, with half being outside, and the other half keeping us company in the cab.
Most of the rest of the day was simply driving and speaking about deep subjects like "What horses would talk about in a "back of the day" discussion, and "things that make people happy."
When we finally reached our destination, we bought a few necessities before searching out the apartment. After making sure my companion, (who in case you didn't catch on from the title is one of my cousins), was secure I went back to the store and bought a few more supplies. So ends the day.
Note to readers: While eating licorice can help you stay awake, don't eat 70% of the bag in one sitting. It can give you a stomachache.
