May 4th, 2017.
I've heard it often said that people should be careful what they post in social media because a future or current boss might look you up.
Today while driving to turn in our paperwork for a peddlers permit (I'm going to be a peddler! Be proud, okay?), our supervisor asked us what we liked to do. I immediately said writing, and he responded, "i know that, I've see your posts." Turns out he has been reading our adventures haha. And get this, he remembered enough details to make a few jokes and wise cracks. I got to say, it made me happy. The guy has a good sense of humor and a very serious face, so he is kind of hard to read. But he is cool. He challenged me to an ice cream eating contest. Haha.
The only other real thing of importance is that we watched training videos. Take aways: the technician job takes a lot of focus and attention to details. Also, this company is very keen on people being honest and going above and beyond for the customer.
It was a litte hard to stay awake, the temperature of the room was perfect for napping, but I'm feeling stoked. I can't wait to get out on the streets.
P.s. scabies even though it is caused by mites, is not covered by pest control companies. That is something you should get checked by a physician. The more you know.
(Something I didn't say on facebook, but I feel like I can say here is that the reason for the scabies bit is because one of the secretaries of the company came in while we were talking with our supervisor and asked if our company covered scabies. The first time I had heard of scabies was a few months ago, and I had thought that the person who had told me about it had said that it was std. I said, "Aren't scabies and std?" and the secretary got very upset. She said, "No it isn't! Little kids in preschools get it!" I googled it, and it turns out that it is actually caused by mites having relations within your pores. So the answer is that in a round about way it is an std. haha)
